Recent storm activity in the UK proved a problem for a local petrol station in the UK. The forecourt canopy collapsed just moments after customers had filled up and were inside paying for their fuel. The only damage was to the vehicles, however it could have been a completely different story had the underside came down with customers filling up at the time. You could argue, it would have been fatal.
A spokesman from the fire services said ‘Fortunately there were no persons trapped in the cars or injured.’
