Iron ore miner Roy Hill plans to employ up to 600 workers over the next year and a half as it increases production at its Pilbara operations. The company, which was the first to sign an enterprise migration agreement with the federal government in May 2012, was being sought for comment. With Roy Hill now producing at the northern part of its deposit, where the ore is closer to the surface, chief executive Barry Fitzgerald said the company was looking at more recruitment, according to The West Australian.
